Color Forms Fun
Next, I set to work at writing programs that make it easier for me to edit and delete stories here. You can read about that in the previous announcement.
But the real kicker? We've got COLOR OPTIONS! That's right. Now you can decide on a color scheme for your particular episode. I encourage you to use this only when it's appropriate and to try to maintain a particular color style for a particular mood. For instance, when the character is walking around outside, you might use the "Sunny" color scheme, but when the character walks into a nightclub, you might consider going back to the darker "Regular" scheme. But don't flip flop between colors willy nilly when the environment or mood of the story doesn't change. I'm trusting you guys to be creative and intelligent here. Whew. I can't believe I just said that.
Then there's one more option that I added, and that's the ability to preview your episode before you officially submit it. I encourage everyone to use this option to proofread your stories and make sure the format is correct, especially to first time writers (who likely won't read this announcement first, so what, am I just talking to myself here?). Again, I'm trusting you all. As such, I'm making "Add story" the default option so that those of you who know what you're getting yourselves into (and you're few and far between, let me tell you/give you the whatfor) will have a faster time of it. You will have to specifically choose the "Preview" option.
That's it. I'll be adding new color schemes later, but for now there are only five. Let me know if you think of a good combination that will suit a particular style. Hmm... I'm thinking a brown parchment style would be excellent... Now how do I add these things again? Geez, my mind is going...
