BILL VANDERBURG
After completing a doctorate in mechanical engineering, Bill Vanderburg
continued his studies of technology via the social sciences and humanities
in France. Upon his return to Canada he began teaching at the University
of Toronto, where he is the founding Director of the Centre for Technology
and Social Development. He has developed a new approach to engineering
education that can function as a model for other professions. The findings
are currently being documented in seven volumes.
