Sean Hargens

Is a researcher for the Integral Institute, a non-profit devoted to integral solutions. In addition he teaches courses in consciousness and ecology at JFK University in Orinda, California. Recently, he spent five-months in Bhutan researching the intersection of ecology, culture, and spirituality. Sean is completing his PhD. in the Humanities at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Consciousness Studies and the Journal of Bhutan Studies and he is currently collaborating on a book about Integral Ecology with the environmental philosopher Michael Zimmerman.
