GSR Position on Cyber Security Research - "Deterring Complex Threats" project
UC, Berkeley students 2 GSR positions available to participate in a study of cyber security as part of the "Deterring Complex Threats" project led by colleagues at UCSD.
The initial work focuses on the use of encrypted cell phones involved in a terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California on December 2, 2015 that killed 14 and injured 22.
Preference will be given to those with a background or knowledge in technical or policy aspects of cyber security; elements of nuclear deterrence; counter-terrorism; and/or public-private sector interaction.
