real scary please debunk or confirm thanks

this is an article that was written in June. It predicts the northern lights being seen at lower latitudes. This is exactly what happened last week. Can a solar storm react with fallout from fukushima as the article states? http://pissinontheroses.blogspot.com/2011/06/threat-alert-solar-proton-b...

Fukushima is a catastrophe

Fukushima is a catastrophe for Japan, no matter how much John D. Boice tries to downplay it in his testimony.

Accuracy - no downplaying

Dr. Boice is being ACCURATE; not "downplaying".

For Japan, the earthquake and tsunami were the larger catastrophes. Additionally, Dr. Boice doesn't "downplay" the effects in Japan, but contrasts the mitigating actions taken by the Japanese with the total lack of action in response to Chernobyl.

Dr. Boice accurately characterizes the effect on the USA. The man is testifying to Congress, after all. If there really were a threat to US citizens, and the national leadership, i.e. Congress and the President needed to do something to mitigate those consequences; why would an independent medical scientist "downplay" the effects?

Why ?

Herd Management

Arnie Gunderson is now down playing

If you watch his video it clearly shows Seattle with 2/3 the hot particles as Tokyo. Listen how he describes the difference between the 2 numbers.

Casual contact?

How much mass is present in an HIV infection.
============================================

So are you one of these people that made all the fuss about casual contact with HIV-infected people?

Evidently, you don't know that you can't get AIDS by casual contact.

A small bit of HIV virus in tears or sweat can not give you AIDS!! It takes a certain "substantial" amount of HIV virus that you can only get by certain types of risky behavior.

Guess you didn't know that. I guess you are one of the types with the simplistic mindset that if something is bad at very large doses, then it must be bad at extremely small doses.

True equation but can u tell me if 25 pounds of cesium was distributed evenly over US land mass what would pci/g in soil be ? Just curious

Ill-defined question

Since Curies and Becquerels (Bq) are both units of radioactivity, then one can convert 36,000 TBq into a given number of picoCuries.

Now, you propose distributing the cesium over the entire USA which is an area.

Now you want to know the radioactivity density in pCi/g of soil.

You haven't specified enough. The "entire USA" tells us an area.

How do we get a mass, i.e. "grams" from the "entire USA" which is an area.

The question is ILL-POSED

What you just proposed is a question like, "My back yard is 1/2 acre. If I dig it up, how much will the dirt weigh?" The question is not answerable, because you left something out - how deep you are going to dig.

Go back and figure out a question that makes sense.

Zero points for this one.

Conspiracy Law

...

The evidence may or may not support a prosecution under the Criminal Conspiracy Laws of Japan or an appropriate analog to the Group Criminality Requirement of the United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime.

Debunked!

This is a bunch of crap. The amount of fallout from Fukushima is negligible.

I like how the article attempts to manufacture something scary. Like when they say, the interaction of these high energy particles with Fukushima fallout can create radioactivity.

What they don't say is that it will create radioactivity even if the fallout from Fukushima were NOT up there.

You know that advice about not believing something that is "too good to be true" ( You are today's winner - you just won 100 Million Dollars )

When you see something that is real horrible and it involves Fukushima; do yourself a favor, and don't believe it.

There are tons of scare mongers out there attempting to scare people to join them and their politics.

you know, you don't debunk

you know, you don't debunk something just by saying "debunked!"

I know you wish it to be so, but reality simply doesn't get altered through insistent denial.

WRONG after all.

WRONG! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR!!!

Guess you were WRONG after all. Take a look at Mark's post at top.

can you explain how it was

can you explain how it was written in june and happened last week? or is there really a patten for creating radioactive iodine?

This Discredits any post u make

Like stick my head in the sand or something?

Riiiiight, all that was

Riiiiight, all that was released was banana pudding. No need to worry all radiation is exactly the same and bananas are radioactive soooo.....

Spallation

It has taken 7.5 months to produce the 1st public compilations of the Fukushima radiation releases.

The low altitude dats, such as it is, has been tricked out into the public domain.

Virtually every early disclosure, by TEPCO, Japan and the US government have been demonstrably FALSE. Canada, somewhat dubiously, simply denied taking any measurements whatsoever, international treaty obligations notwithstanding. (They turned all the monitors ... OFF?)

We can add this to the US governmental frauds associated with the largest oceanic oil spill in American history by the BP Macondo well blowout. The NASA Climate unit frauds perpetrated with East Anglia University, pretty much rule out any notion of integrity, scientific or otherwise in the realm of climate study.

That track record does NOT inspire ANY confidence in ANY conclusion, or ANY data from high altitude studies. But, not to worry, the US government has pretty much done the same as Canada. The data, if available at all, is VERY well hidden.

But we have Obama in charge

But we have Obama in charge. Employees of the Government can't cover up and defraud us if their boss Obama says not to.

Obama told us his Administration would be "transparent".

Obama told us we would have "hope and change".

Obama told us .....

working for the company

When ascending to high office the education as to who the masters are must be complete.

A failed education results in death. The higher the office the more certain and swift the death of the impaired student.

The company does not mess about.

I see that. Haven't seen a very thought out response yet. I think it seems possible.

Odd

:(

It is quite ODD, to use as perjorative, a simple and long-standing legal term ... to wit ... conspiracy. Yes, Virginia ... there are criminal conspiracies ...

Everything is a Tort

Everything is a ... (you fill in the blank).

Hey, let’s try using other legal terms of art … as perjorative.

“Everything is a” … (Tort, Felony, Premunire, Misdemeanor) … “Every fact is a lie. Everyone is against you.”

Nope, doesn’t seem to work, for me. But perhaps, in your circles, these will all ‘go viral’.

There are LOTS of other legal terms to use as perjorative: lease, probate, incest, crime, offense, probate, will, motive ...

Perjorative ???

Perjorative ???

What does this have to do

What does this have to do with my post?

Real Scary?

Professor Emeritus Kazuhiko Maekawa might be afraid of criminal prosecution. More likely, he has given the matter no consideration whatsoever.

Perhaps?

Perhaps ...

Perhaps, it is not about you or your post.

Hope that thought does not 'burst your bubble'.

Holding back the tide

A few determined liars, fighting to hide their misdeeds, against the tide of history. The Roman Catholic Church temporarily prevented public disclosure of the solar centric planetary model.

TEPCO, Japan, USA and the half-dozen or so involve companies are working furiously to prevent scientific disclosure of the various nuclear spills, and associated health hazards associated with those spills, including Fukushima, Chernobyl, TMI and the rest.

So What did you think of the

So What did you think of the article and what happened last week? Also there were many reports that a release occurred prior to the northern lights being seen in Alabama. Some of the reports came from Tepco.
