brawm: infant milk formula testing?
would it be in any way possible to test organic infant milk-based formula? i have a one-month-old and have low breastmilk supply. i had been pre-emptively supplementing with soy formula, but my son experiences much gastric distress with soy. :(
i'm quite worried...
thank you,
charra

infant formula
I'd stay off soy--there are many problems with it and these days it's mostly contaminated with genetically modified soy. A qualified homeopath should be able to help you get a decent breastmilk supply going but in the meantime, there do seem to be good organic milk based formulas that don't have soy in. But I understand the desire to avoid milk that's contaminated with nuke crap! Looks like we are trapped between devil and deep blue sea.

have you seen a certified
have you seen a certified lactation consultant to get supply advice? Eating real oatmeal can boost supply and quick too, fenugreek is an herbal supplement that works wonders and your doctor can prescribe a supply enhancing drug is those don't work. There are tons of way to get your supply up, see kellymom.com for supply tips. If you need support you can also contact your local le leche league :)
try to get that supply up and then you won't have to worry as much.
