Could radiation affect weather patterns?

I'm in Orange County California and have noticed since the nuclear accident that there is more moisture in the air. The nights don't have stars and the mornings have fog. The weather has never been like this before. Could radiation make these changes? It's eerie....I miss my stars at night and beautiful blue skies with fluffy white clouds.

I think there are global weather changes going on that both caused the tremendous earthquake in Japan, as well as caused unusual dramatic drought-or-flood, heatwave-or-coldspell conditions across much of the world, "El Nada" and the crazy twisting jetstream, and other events like that volcano in Chile that just kept going and going and going.

How much of the responsibility for those weather changes I would put on humanity's shoulders, I find too complicated to ponder with the knowledge I have and I do not risk an estimate. But I do think there are unusual global weather changes recently, and that would account for your unusual weather.

To your more general topic though: Yes, I believe it causes electrical storms to be more electrical. I have never heard such long, rumbling, metallic sounding thunder such as I have heard this spring and summer. I have never seen lightning the likes of which I have seen this spring and summer. Somebody - make a dissertation topic out of that! It looks and sounds fantastic, but I do admit I worry about the cause, and only admire it safely behind my windowpane.

Great reply to the OP.
Anecdotally (!) I'm in SoCal also, and sure miss nice sunny warm days.
All spring, summer and now fall it's been awful. Damp, cloudy, for the most part chilly. So depressing. We had a cold and cloudy summer last year too, so unrelated to Fukushima.
When the sun does try to come out, it's hazy as heck. No full spectrum sun for ages. When I lived in the Northeast, I'd get "Seasonal Affective Disorder" from the long, cloudy winters. I'm having those symptoms.
There are a lot of people in SoCal who swear it's due to 'chemtrails'. I don't know.
