Typhoon and Redistribution of Fallout in Japan

The garbage and sewage waste stream handlers have been accumulating radioactive ash and sludge for some time now. Will it be stored securely (in open yards covered with tarps?) in areas in the path of the typhoon and evacuated areas ?

After washing all over the landscape (again) it will again end up in the atmosphere and be distributed with wind and rain. Fukudai just keeps up giving and giving.

Lets move Japan to North Dakota and just cement the place over.

Crap. I didn't think that far ahead. Thanks for a good heads up. I've been tracking this (and the other typhoons) in concern about the precarious nature and fragility of the reactors. Much MUCH higher "background' radiation here in SoCal for months, so I've been inside a lot anyway and only eating food sourced from S. Hem.
For what it's worth, and not that anyone really cares, but we leave for the Southern Hemisphere in a few weeks. Took us months to plan, but it could be done quickly if one were committed to the decision.
Not a perfect solution, but way better than the extraordinary killer stress of financial collapse, coupled with what appears to be purposeful mismanagement of the Fukushima horror. It's all just too much for us to handle.

Southern Hemisphere?

Cool. Where are you headed? Do you need to learn a new language? Can you own property there?
Best of luck, and think of us left behind ... :(
