Canadian Food Inspection Agency: No radiation detected in West Coast fish
That is somewhat hard to believe. Another thing that makes everything questionable is that CFIA does not give any numbers as usual.
"No radiation has been detected in West Coast fish stocks following the Fukushima nuclear incident, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is reporting."

Same old playbook as B4
:(
Same playbook as before. All the US government shills, for the nuclear industry, sounded the 'all clear' a few days before the radionuclide storm. Looks like Canada will take the lead in this episode.
The fish and Northeastern Pacific waters will be declared 'safe' and negligible, before the radioactive ocean currents and radionuclide contaminated fish migrations begin to show the hazardous bioaccumulation.
Most of the 'mainstream press' will play along with the gag. Then, and only then, the 'hot tuna' and glow-in-the-dark salmon will begin to show up on the shelves of our local grocery stores.
At this point, only the 'food fraud' seafood from the Northwest Pacific has high radionuclide contents.
:(
It sounds like positive
It sounds like positive news, and I would like to believe it. But my trust in government reporting has been eroded by the lack of detailed information and transparency regarding Fukushima emissions. Note that "The CFIA did not release details on the type of fish tested or the locations where they were caught." This just continues the "partial information" approach followed by Canadian govt agencies post Fukushima.
The fish that needs to be tested if Pacific (sockeye) salmon, which migrates to the tip of northern Japan during its life cycle. Monitoring of those salmon needs to continue over the next few years.

"It sounds like positive news,..."
Excellent commentary.
You express my sentiments precisely.
Didn't the EPA raise the
Didn't the EPA raise the levels of radioactive elements in our food chain by up to 300% for some particles several weeks after Fukishima?
