Radiation levels not accurately reported in some Texas drinking water

Watch a new 5 part video series of a news investigation in Texas done by KHOU, revealing the cover up of potentially harmful radiation levels in drinking water in some parts of Texas:

Much Ado About Nothing

Much Ado About Nothing (MAAN)

This topic has been extensively discussed previously on the BRAWM blog. It is barely up to the standard of a trivial pursuit question.

The marginal radium/radon readings in a few isolated Houston area water wells is really OLD news. The regional aquifer is radiologically safe. Only a few wells located near geologic fault lines and salt domes were close to the EPA limit.

Only about 5 water wells were plugged in the entire region. Further, the entire region is converting to surface water. This conversion is to reduce regional subsidence.

The local TV, radio and newspapers now run a follow-up story about once a year. If memory serves, every active water well in the region complies with the EPA drinking water standard.

Meanwhile the Japan public health disaster and radiological Armageddon is rolling up quite a death toll already.
