The job market for PhD’s in engineering can sometimes be as complex and daunting as some of the research topics studied by the recent graduates. Engineering consulting, failure analysis and forensic engineering in particular, is a non-traditional, interesting and challenging field; but one often overlooked by the young researcher and job seeker.
