EPA response re: Seattle quarterly drinking water test results by mid-August?

Here is the latest (August 1, 2011) response by the EPA Radiation Protection Division to questions concerning when the EPA's quarterly test results for radioisotopes in drinking water in Seattle will be available (the last Seattle drinking water sample was tested back on March 28):

"Unfortunately, after speaking with the entity that handles the
collection and analysis of RadNet laboratory samples, EPA's National Air
and Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL), I wasn't able to get
much more information regarding the quarterly sample collection and
analysis timeline.

"There is no preset specific date each quarter when operators are
required to send in samples from their location. Sample containers are
mailed out each quarter, prompting operators to collect samples and
return them to the laboratory for analysis. But, since operators are
volunteers, NAREL has no control over when the samples are sent in from
each location.

"That being said, I would still expect most (if not all) quarterly RadNet
laboratory analysis results to be available on the Envirofacts webpage
by mid-August. If you do not see the specific results that you are
looking for by mid-August, please let me know and I will see if I can
inquire further about when to expect the quarterly laboratory results.

"Thanks for your patience, sorry that I couldn't be of greater assistance
to you."
