We don't know if ICH is completely ignoring Fukushima because they think that it is a distraction to the Empire's depredation of Libya. Or if they think that there is, an, er, Tsunami of Fukushima coverage elsewhere. Or if it is happenstance. But no Fukushima story gives no place to hang the following, so here it is, out of place.

2. TAP WATER RADIATION - FOOL ME TWICE ?

The poster is … using BRAWM's numbers! It really is _very_low_ as a number. But as radiation? No clue! Over to you. Or Dr. Chris Busby, below - who advises monitoring. Did it happen? The peasants (US) certainly didn't hear the results ...

The fact that the story was buried / suppressed / is more worrying. Until a trusted source -- Busby, Caldicott, Wasserman or other -- says otherwise, imo. ymmv.

So Harvey Wasserman's advice was sound! To a) leave raingear and outdoor footwear outside - alpha radiation is intense but won't penetrate even paper, but you _really_ don't want to breathe, eat or drink -- ingest -- it! Or track it through your house so that you will ingest it later! Or have your dog, children or servants do the same. (*1)

And b) drink bottled water, or water stored before the radiation arrives (ER, too late there, so bottled water it is.) (*2) What about carbon-filtered water??

3. US W. COAST BETA RADIATION - BUSBY - FOOL ME THREE TIMES ????

Professor Busby _was_ monitoring increasing beta radiation spikes - up to twice normal - until he suddenly couldn't get any more data from EPA's Radnet. Funny how that works, eh? -

Let's hope that the uncomfortable feeling in your neck is strain from reading ICH twelve hours a day and a not a foretaste of Chernobyl Necklace - the scar from removal of your Iodine-irradiated thyroid gland. Yes, you can survive - on a lifelong daily hormone dose. But you would probably prefer not give the medical-industrial-complex the business.
