Chris Busby

I found this rare collection of Chris Busby videos shot last month while he was on a trip to France. I think he needed some downtime after being out in the limelight for so long, he has an antique boat cruiser that he tinkers with.

Anyway the information is very informal and is sort of a video log, not an official TV news statement. But the information is key to understanding what is happening and it is important to watch these videos with an understanding that we have to face the facts sooner or later.

My opinion is that lets leave all the sensationalism behind and get to the facts, Busby does a fine job of doing just that.

I say bravo to this man, who could be retired by now but has found the energy to be active and to make the knowledge known for us to protect ourselves.

Busby

Thanks for the links. Busby definitely deserves respect. His petition to the EU should be considered seriously. Every EU citizen should take part to it.

“It’s all invisible. The

“It’s all invisible. The trees are still trees, people are shopping, the birds are singing and dogs are walking in the street,” said Chris Busby, a visiting professor at the University of Ulster’s school of biomedical sciences, who visited Fukushima prefecture last week to provide information on health risks. “When you bring out the (Geiger) machines, you can see everything is sparkling and everyone is being bitten by invisible snakes that will eventually kill them.”

Busby exposed

The link above can give anyone who cares reference points of this man's accomplishments and studies. It is a link to his very long, CV. I am the op here and just wanted to say that the videos I posted are just logs of him speaking casually. These videos are not meant to prove anything and are not shot by glossy newscasters, Russia Today or CNN. Just simple talk for those who care to listen. I will again say that most physicists I know and have encountered are quirky, and have a great deal of knowledge circulating around in minds. Busby is another one of those types, but more on the bohemian / humanitarian side than most. Here is an excerpt from his CV about his other interests. Oh yeah, and yes he is an activist, but that does not disqualify his studies, it only helps one understand why he is an activist because he feels the subject matter is very harmful to all forms of life and this planet.

Dr Busby has 7 children and 11 grandchildren and lives in Aberystwyth Wales, close to the sea. His interests include music and writing and performing songs (he plays guitar, banjo, diatonic accordion, bandoneon, violin, viola, nykleharpa and Hardanger fiddle: seewww.myspace.com/christobusby) writing poetry and sailing his 5-ton 1953 wooden yacht
Carefree
which is moored in Pembrokeshire (and belonged to William Penney) and his 65ton 1903 Dutch Barge
Marius
(which belonged to Susan Ross of New York) based inFrance in which he is creeping south.

And, here's Busby's recent conference with people from Fukushima, warning about radiation fallout and HOT PARTICLE dangers to the health of those living in Fukushima.

Japanese translations were edited out, making it much easier to hear what Professor Busby tells the citizens of Fukushima.

Busby External/Internal Radiation, Spread of Isotope Consequence

Thanks for the links. Here's another good one from Busby re: External/internal radiaiton, epidemological studies on Falluja and the consequences of the spread of radioisotopes:

So starting at around 4

So starting at around 4 minutes he goes from someone who sounds knowledgeable, to a crazy person. First, he seems to not understand thermobaric weapons at all. Then he claims there is a new weapon out there that uses enriched uranium with D-T embedded to produce fusion. Cold fusion sounds way more plausible than that.

Silence is golden

:

It is probably better to ignore speculation about weapons development projects than to obfuscate in a clumsy fashion.

I believe Busby far more

I believe Busby far more than you, he has been right about things so far, in the face of TEPCO's lies.

uh yeah...

Most physicists I know are a little "crazy" in some way or another, the knowledge is there he is just sort of eccentric person look beyond that.

I also am an eccentric

I also am an eccentric physicist. I say a lot of crazy things too, but I never believe them enough to announce them to the whole world. He is also claiming he can measure the enriched uranium. That is a very difficult thing to do, and I am very skeptical he would be able to do that kind of measurement in the field.

In one of the videos posted

In one of the videos posted by the OP, Busby talks about the "war against humanity" launched by the nuclear industry. On that apocalyptic scenario, he positions himself as defender, savior bringer of truth. In his own mental landscape he is a messianic figure.

I really can't think of anyone worse to represent the anti-nuclear movement right now. With the official data alone there are enough arguments to demand the decommissioning of all existent reactors and a serious rethinking of energy policy on a global scale.

No need to retort to cover-ups or conspiracies that include 99% of the scientific community of the planet, conspiracy which main target seems to be making Chris Busby look like a hack.

nuclear industry v. humanity

Where to store spent fuel for millions of years safely? Nowhere. Of course the nuclear idustry is at war against humanity, they can't complete this safely, so therefore, they are putting humanity in danger to make some cash.

Burying it underground been

Burying it underground been scientifically shown to be completely safe. The issue is not a science issue, it is a political one.

Let's bury it in your backyard.

You should notify the Yucca Mountain folks that your basement is available, they don't have to worry anymore.

Too much rain by me. Yucca

Too much rain by me. Yucca mountain works well. So does the area around WIPP. Many countries auction their burial site to the highest bidder, many communities welcome the influx of billions of dollars and thousands of jobs.

rain shouldn't be a problem if it is safe.

there is plenty of water underground. People sell their children into slavery, too, for a few dollars.

Umm, no there isn't. It

Umm, no there isn't. It varies. You may need to look up the underground water conditions at the WIPP site.

No one wants it in their backyard,

including you, because we all know that it is not safe. Go sell someone else's kids down the river.

Scientists consider it safe.

Scientists consider it safe. When you use "we all" who are you referring to? Clearly not anyone who knows the science of groundwater transport.

Criminals never think they will get caught.

They certainly won't be around to see the end of Plutonium 239 and the rest, so what do they care?

In fact those weren't Busby's words, originally

The statement that the nuke industry is waging a "war against humanity" did not originate with Busby. It was made by the late Professor John Gofman, a senior figure in the US Atomic Energy Commission. Here he is: http://www.whale.to/a/gofman.html

And here's something else he said:
"Many people think nuclear power is so complicated it requires discussion at a high level of technicality. That's pure nonsense. Because the issue is simple and straightforward. There are only two things about nuclear power that you need to know. One, why do you want nuclear power? So you can boil water. That's all it does. It boils water. And any way of boiling water will give you steam to turn turbines. That's the useful part. The other thing to know is, it creates a mountain of radioactivity, and I mean a mountain: astronomical quantities of strontium-90 and cesium-137 and plutonium--toxic substances that will last--strontium-90 and cesium for 300 to 600 years, plutonium for 250,000 to 500,000 years--and still be deadly toxic. And the whole thing about nuclear power is this simple: can you or can't you keep it all contained? If you can't, then you're creating a human disaster."

Messianic? Don't know, don't care. True? think so.

exact meaning

As soon as you grab the public mike or can show me anyone with his credentials and experience speaking the truth we will discuss alternatives.

Now lets check in with your claim/insinuation of gentle derangement or
messianic figure syndrome:

....more like joan of arc only he is stuck on a reactor instead.

Let's see.

Persecuted (disciplined) because he published data and research without going through channels.

So yes persecuted.

Alone in his depth of conviction because he had done the research where almost all had not and dare not tread.

So yes a man of faith.

Singular figure. Kinda out on his own. Few of his ilk have the drive to expose the truth.

So a lone voice speaking to the masses who feel they are hearing the truth which is a divine gift in this age of double and corporate speak.

Perfect? Don't think that's the claim. Quirky or somewhat strange dude with the truth seems to be the overwhelming comment.

messianic figure: who cares messianic shamanic what ever you say...

My jeans are however holey.

Thank you also...

David thank you for the link I viewed it before but watched it again.
