Radiation testing available to you
Following the nuclear disaster in Japan there has been a dramatic increase in the number of requests to perform Gamma Spectroscopy analyses. In response, EMSL Analytical is pleased to announce that they are now accepting radiological samples to test food products, soils, vegetation and water matrices. Some samples are able to be processed in as short as one day. The ability to measure Gamma isotopes that may have been released from the Japanese nuclear power plant allows EMSL to measure for things such as Cesium-134, Cesium-137, Iodine-131 and other radioactive elements.

131?
If they report finding I-131, we are either in the middle of another nuclear disaster, or they are not doing the job correctly. All the I-131 from Fukushima has decayed out.
That being said, it is good to have this option.
