Baby Update

Last ultrasound yesterday. Everything is developing normally. Blood tests came back normal. I'm going to be the proud father of a beautiful baby boy!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!

I meant to post this a while

I meant to post this a while ago but I have been knee deep in diapers for the last 4 weeks. I have been among the ranks of anonymous worried pregnant women and fathers to be asking BRAWM all sorts of questions about the safety of the situation. I live up in Vancouver so although BRAWM data has kept me sane I have continually worried that we could be receiving much higher levels this far north.

Anyhow, after 3 months of arguing with my partner (as he felt I was being paranoid), general stress over the situation and funny looks from medical workers when I asked about the situation I gave birth to a healthy, happy, beautiful boy on June 11th.

With the reduction in the levels of radiation over here and a healthy baby in my arms I am finally able to relax and enjoy this special time of my life. I know it is just anecdotal evidence but I hope my story can reassure others maybe a little bit. I wish the OP and all other expectant parents the best of luck.

I also live up in Vancouver, and am 7 months pregnant. My husband has also been very non-supportive and has been making me feel like a paranoid freak. In addition, I have a 3 year old in the house, so I've been trying to watch our diet and to avoid certain foods (ie: dairy, certain produce, etc.) I am also pretty stressed out that we're not doing any food testing here in BC. If you have any further info, please let me know.
