Since then, as a mother of 2 young daughters and a scientist, I was able to research what limited actions I could take to minimize our cesium intake. If we lived in Japan, I'd risk the (ridiculus comparison) radiation exposure of "flying in an airplane", to get out of radiation contaminated food, air, & water from the 3 leaking melted down nuclear reactors.

In April and May, I watched the rain falling on my organic vegetable garden. Now, I look at my beautiful organic lettuce, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes, and snow peas and wonder am I feeding my children radioactive cesium laced vegetables. I need my own testing equipment.
