New Super Gonorrhea Bug Emerges in Japan (New Mutation - Untreatable)
Andrei Sakharov, the refusenik Soviet hero who was the father of the Soviet H Bomb in the 1950's predicted there would be global Pandemics caused by new radiation-produced genetic mutations of disease-causing viruses and bacteria which we will have evolved no resistance to.
Looks like this may be happening with a new gonorrhea emerging in Japan. I wonder why it is that Japan has been the source of multiple such new strains (could it be too much mutagenic nuclear pollution in too small a space plus leftover radiation from decades of exposure to radionuclides everywhere?) according to this Reuters article.

When was the strain
When was the strain detected, is it related to Fukushima? The article reads like Japan has been Gonorrhea's evolution boot camp for decades.

You ask the right questions but keep in mind
nuclear emissions from plants into Japan's air and water has been going on for decades and there would be residual exposure from the two hiroshima and nagasaki as well. Perhaps the strains were emerging already and were worsened by Fukushima but the scariness is chilling.
WHY INDEED is Japan the place where these emerge, like a syphilitic Godzilla spewing death over its people and the world.
