I hope somebody can respond to this. Have dried beans been effected by the fallout? Are they completely safe to eat, even when packed in the U.S. after March 11th? Thanks in advance for your responses.

It is probably ok to use March 17, as the cut-off date for 'Fukushima Fallout Free' US food products.
The Jet Stream took a few days to get here. The 1st traces were measured on the West Coast about March 18.
I used that time interval to cache a few packages of dried beans in the pantry.
