Japan says radiation releases were actually double

Question:

If Japan failed to admit the full release amounts, doesn't that mean that all the cloud tracking and levels of radiation exposure given by ZAMG and the other weather / nuclear fallout forecasting sites should be doubled or tripled ?

I believe these sites based the fall out simulation and dispersement patterns / levels on what Japan said was released and did the modeling using those figures....now we understand the figures were grossly under played.

What do you think ?

I don't think that changes the measured amounts, though. Most of the measurements that I've accessed while keeping up with the radiation progress were made via sampling air, soil, and food - BRAWM's measurements included. The specific readings we received don't change.

I find it hard to believe that the "changes of the measured amounts" will not affect how much we are exposed to.

It has to do with dilution. The bigger the release the less diluted it becomes, that includes the air we breath.

It's been made pretty clear that the economy is everything in the current state of affairs. Nothing else comes close in importance.

Hard to go to work and fuel the economy when you're dying of cancer. At least GE can still make money diagnosing and "treating" the cancers (with more cancer causing radiation!!). It's the ultimate hustle.
