Not compatible
I am not against nuclearism. It is, at least at this point, the only energy source capable of powering journey farther into the universe. I am, however, opposed to the use of nuclear energy within a capitalistic system. Nuclear power and capitalism are incompatible.
Nuclear power, fission, is the power which was once attributed only to gods. It is an awesome power; it is the generative power of the universe. It belongs to a realm far beyond us.
Capitalism, on the other hand, is fully embedded in our tiny and time limited world of greed, exploitation, competition, and short term profit.
It is clear that the evolutionary mandate is requiring that we grow beyond this by matching our godlike techical power with an evolution of consciousness beyond greed.
Nuclear fission is so awesome that it can only be touched with the utmost caution and respect, not by the short term goal of getting one's product on the line fast, cutting corners to beat out the competitors.
Enough for now. I may say more later.

It's not capitalism
It's not capitalism specifically, it's people.
People make mistakes.
