BREAKING NEWS: F-16 WITH CHEMICAL-NUCLEAR WEAPONS CRASHES IN WISCONSIN

Happend two days ago

The video was posted two days ago. And a follow-up article said 50 people were evacuated because of fire and smoke. No mention of chemical or nuclear weapons. Which would be odd for a training exercise anyway. Only the "witness" mentioned chemical or nuclear weapons. Which I hear is a typical story to get nosey people to go away :-)

A possibility of nuclear

A possibility of nuclear contamination tends to make people LESS nosy, you say?

If I lived in that town or anywhere near it, not sure it would have that effect on me.

In fact, I don't live anywhere near it, and it still doesn't seem to be having that effect.

Well, people with any sense would stay away from the crash site

I didn't say it would make people less nosey. I said that it would make nosey people *stay away*.

The story was used in 1963 when an A-12 crashed in Wendover, Utah. While I'm sure everyone would want more information, most would want to get that information while being as far away from the loose nuke (or chemical weapon) as possible. Which is exactly what the military wanted.

I really doubt they would

I really doubt they would publicize this even if it were true.
