Notre Dame vs. USC cancelled due to radiation fears?

I'm thinking the only way people will actually take this issue seriously is if sports teams start canceling trips to the west coast due to risks of radiation exposure. Perhaps researchers at Notre Dame advise the athletic department not to send the football team to LA to play USC next year. THAT would get media attention. Unfortunately, the possibility of the expedited death of hundreds of millions of people isn't of concern to anyone.
