Dry hacking coughs and asthma
I am seeing people who normally have no allergies or respiratory problems have problems here in Northern CA. My asthma and allergies are normally gone this type of year. Even the pharmacist said they have never seen anything like it and believe it is mold, pollen etc etc.
I want to believe that but after Gunderson reporting the 3 reactors are nonstop spewing their poison, and wind is blowing around pre deposited stuff here....could there be a bigger story here? I know the weather hasnt been normal, but Im hitting my asthma inhaler multiple times a day and I never do. Family members are having problems too.
If reactor four collapses/topples/explodes I can tell you with the last resources I have Im heading to South America and will maintain a holding pattern.

What is a doctor anymore but a dispenser of stupid pharmaceuticals? The profession is so watered down it might as well graduate its pharma shills en masse with zero knowledge of anything but X necessiates prescription Y at Z dosage. What do you seriously think these posters are going to get out of MD visits?
And to the rest of you, what can you really expect of a technological humanity 7 billion strong with most by design functioning as utter idiots?

It's so hard to know what is
It's so hard to know what is really happening. Even as I'm standing in Target yesterday and a young man is holding a tissue to help stop his bleeding nose I couldn't help but feel fear/sadness/worry and connect it to what's now in our air. Am I paranoid? Doctors will never say or "know" why all these symptoms are happening....it'll be chalked up to allergies.

In denial..?
It's hard for me to believe the denial I witnessed and heard from the mouths of Californians. I mean really incredible stuff -- even from those with children. But let's use a little common sense reasoning here to put his into context: You don't have to be Socrates to realize that people who would live in the smoggiest country in the United States but would keep purchasing giant, 5,000+-ground-crushing-pound trucks to go pick up a loaf of bread down at the corner store -- the same people living in a place identified as having an actual hole in the ozone in the 1980s, who kept sending their kids out to play ion the noonday sun every day -- are expected to be more than a little reluctant to believe simple logical truth and act with common sense.
I've witnessed some uncomfortable stuff on the past two-plus months around Los Angeles, and myself had burning, itching skin even though my wife and I avoided going outside as much as possible, and always cover ourselves with hats and full shirts and pants, but one image I can't get out of my head was when my wife and I were finally taking our first walk since the levels went down and she suddenly stopped me and looked down in horror --- there were two adult squirrels freshly dead, just lying in the middle of the sidewalk. This is a real dog and cat neighborhood, and yet I noted from inside our house that all the dogs and cats seemed to avoid the bodies like the plague. I've probably seen close to a half-dozen dead squirrels since - not in the street but in locations like sidewalks and yards. Also I note that outdoor cats have been quite weak and lethargic. Of course, there could be other causes, such as rodent poisoning, but what a coincedence.

I gotta say that I'm not so sure that the medical field hasn't got a part in the whole "downplaying & reassurances" scheme of things considering that many people who rcv. medicare or medicaid,etc. are treated on the "quantity" level,rather than the "quality" levels being fair or equal and it wouldn't surprise me if there were ultimatums or cleverly delivered threats made to medical professionals who publicly expressed alarming concern about Fuku radiation and probably are kept in check by a combination of not wanting to be the first one to go against the industry & govt. stance describing how safe & insignificant the crap is to human health and being that the lion's share of their services likely have more money coming from govt. sources that could be in jeopardy if they challenged the big $$ players assertion that nobody's getting sick or in peril. Also,maybe they're also reluctant because of the possible backlash & effects on nuclear medicine & they fear their could be obstacles created by radiation fears regarding reluctance on the part of patients fearful of the added exposure of CT scans & X-rays,etc. that would result in delays in detection & treatments that would result in further unnecessary death? It's just a possible theory based on the fact that I happen to be the one not making my radiology appointments for exactly this reason & my wife became violently ill last night with most of these symptoms and the dead animals in the area along with the POS EPA's Radnet system showing the Midwest where I'm located is experiencing some of the highest gross beta count data I've seen to date since the 3/11 disaster began?! I hope the symptoms being felt & described by so many turn out to be something else entirely and not radiation-induced or lethal & that everyone recovers from whatever's going on 100%! There have been a lot of epidemics & disease outbreaks lately-with new bugs & old ones thought to have been eradicated showing up again on an almost daily basis that might explain some of the incidents of unexplained illness...But then again-look at the Radnet Gross Beta count data today for instance for the state of VA or IN,IA,SD,etc. and seeing the spikes into the 600-700CPM range with daily averages in most places mentioned being from 150-300CPM just in the last week or so and it makes me wonder if the BS they dumped into the ocean is behind the increasing levels now rather than releases into the air? Also seeing CA data showing no Iodine 131,but Cesium 134,137-the longer-lived BS of the materials has me wondering if the accumulation of the "BS" isn't what will take us all out in the end??-Just my paranoid delusional thoughts & opinions that I hope are wrong-but I learned a LONG time ago="DTA"!!!-Good Luck Everyone & I sincerely hope everyone thats not feeling well gets better and that it had nothing to do with Fukushitma.PEACE

I live in Kansas and am also experiencing burning skin, burning eyes, difficulty breathing. I too noted the BETA spikes and tried unsuccessfully to pull the BETA counts for our area. I have to wonder if the wildfires out west are not increasing radiation levels in our area. I am not allergic either, something is wrong. I wonder if it is not radiation adrift with smoke particles.

I have been experiencing burning skin ever since March, off and on. Mostly on. Never felt it before then. Have noticed a lot of burning of skin and eyes, scratchy throat and even bleeding nose the past few days. The week before was ok.
Skin burns more where there is no clothing - I wear shorts and t-shirts mostly. I stay indoors most of the time and have not gotten a sunburn lately, so it's not sun exposure. Can't help but think that there are such things as "hot particles", as I can also feel little stinging pin-pricks even under my clothing at times. Some days more than others.
Now, I'm not hypochondriac by nature. I almost never go to the doctor. What do I do for the burning? I rinse off my skin. Tonight I'll take an Epsom salt bath. That seems to help a bit.
I'm guessing that the burning skin, eyes, nose and throat (of sensitive people) may become the "norm" for at least a generation or two, since it doesn't seem possible to stop Fuku from spewing forth massive amounts of radiation. Perhaps, as time goes on and the radiation increases worldwide, even the insensitive folks will come to feel it. Bet they'll be screaming their head off then! LOL
What freaks me out more is the thought that this could happen at any time with the reactors on the west coast...considering all the seismic activity the world is undergoing these days. Since all 3 corners of the Ring of Fire have already shifted, the west coast will be next. Just a matter of time. If the powers that be had any brains at all they would shut down all west coast reactors immediately and move the contents of the storage pools to safe ground.
