We Almost Lost Detroit - Gil Scott Heron, anti-nuclear musician (MUSE) is gone
This is a sad day for me as he was, despite his problems, an incredible musician and activist:
This song about the near meltdown of a nuclear power plant near Detroit says it all, and it is beautifully done:

He also peformed at the No Nukes event in NYC many years ago and was committed to making the world a better place and eliminating the dangers of nuclear power and other unsafe energies (he also has anticoal songs)
This one is called: "Shut 'em Down"

"Gotta work for Earth for what its worth because its the only Earth we've got""
"People make mistakes"
"Did you hear that rumble, did you hear that sound?"
I would suggest too to listen to this piece, one of my favorites:
Winter in America

Gil Scott Heron had just released a new album and became ill after returning to Harlem after a tour in Europe.

Thanks for this
He had a new album too which has some magic in it:
