Question regarding previously High 131 levels in Precipitation Precipitation in Midwest
During earlier tests, Kansas City had a level of 200 (131) in preciptation. This is much higher if I am correct than in California, and I can find only Boise, Idaho having a higher reading. To date, the EPA has never posted Beta readings for our area. Depite my calls to local officals that annual burning of fields for hay might be assessed the following week (Kansas did receive admonishment for effects on ozone from burning the prairie) no offical seemed concerned.
Now, it is May and given the 200 level of 131 would anyone else be concerned and wonder about the level of cesium in milk here?

200 picocuries/l would be 7.4 Bq/l, which is lower than the 19.85 Bq/l detected by BRAWM on March 23.
