Radioactve Yellow dust from China

FYI, something interesting:

Radioactive yellow dust often blows across Korea and Japan from China on a seasonal basis.

Some studies show that Japanese were already exposed to some Cs-137 before Fukushima.

I am curious what the cause of this Cs 137 is in the yellow dust. Some sources claim that it is from the nuclear industry. I am not so sure.

Really begs the question as

Really begs the question as to the reasoning behind so many Japanese wearing facemasks as early as the 1970's and too, since I was born a few years before China's nuclear testing in Europe just how much have I and others been constantly exposed to this and other material whether by air, water and the foods we all eat since all major industrial nations release nuclear material whether via daily operation of nuclear plants, nuclear research facilities, medical waste destruction, military and industrial applications? There is a map on greenpeace.org showing the concentration of nuclear power plants as mostly bisecting the map of the US from the midwest to the east whereas the western states have lower numbers of them. What this means to me is that we all partake of America's breadbasket and hey, it's gotta be HOT! Well, now I know where alot of America's colon and other cancers come from LOL! We're all exposed, no matter who or where we are in the US!

More on China's testing:

http://nuclearthreatinitiative.org/db/china/wnwmdat.htm 'Beginning in 1955, China's nuclear weapon program has remained one of the nation's top priorities.'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbbUcm-FcpU 'This was clipped from a 1966 film from the People's Republic of China, with English narration. The film shows the emergence of China as a nuclear power and describes the efforts of the Chinese in preparation and conduction of atomic and thermo-nuclear tests in the mid-1960s.'

~Off my menu: All Seafoods because the oceans really are a military and industrial sewer! Yes, I will miss Anchovies on my pizza, fishsticks, red snapper, tuna (even 'chicken of the sea' is no longer 'worthy,'crab, fake crab (made with Pollock, an ocean fish), clam chowder, Nori Seaweed,Caviar etc... The Chinese desert areas

The Chinese desert areas have large dust storms every year. It's also where they did their atomic weapons tests. The fallout doesn't sink into the Earth because of how dry the area is. When there are dust storms, the nuclides are resuspended and blow East. Some of this does make it to the US.

I am also curious about how

I am also curious about how much of this yellow dust makes it to the USA.

50,000 becquerels per cubic meter

This just goes to show that the northern hemesphere is mans sewer.

The following comment is very interesting:

"A cesium concentration of more than 50,000 becquerels per cubic meters is considered harmful to the human body"

I've never seen this mentioned before.

I'm not sure what context the 50,000 number came from, but if that figure
is accurate, then the BRAWM measurements are a lot lower. The highest
BRAWM measurement for Cs-134 and Cs-137 combined was 2.3E-6 Bq/L or
0.0023 Bq/M^3. That's the Cs-134: 1.1e-06 & Cs-137: 1.2e-06 results from
the 3/23-3/24 air sample. The 0.0023 Bq/M^3 BRAWM combined result is
approx. 26.7 million times lower.

Dear anonymous

Dear anonymous,

I would not sign my name to that drivel either.

Drivel?

How is comparing the amounts in the article considered to be "drivel"?
