Why they don´t use crude carriers to avoid Fukushima´s facilities flooding?

Fukushima facilities are floodeb by 100 million of highly radioactive water.

Why they don´t use crude carriers to avoid Fukushima´s facilities flooding?

* ULCC (Ultra Large Crude Carrier), 500.000 tons
* VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier), 300.000 tons
* Suezmax, 125.000-200.000 tons
* Aframax, 80.000-125.000 tons
* Panamax, 50.000-79.000 tons.

Is it cheaper dumping into the sea?
is it a problem of costs?

No problem...
General Electric might do a donative if we thing in their defective Mark-1 reactors...
Tepco needs a good friend like GE to pay this tragedy...

Just cheaper to throw it in

Just cheaper to throw it in the ocean.

Sounds like the best

Sounds like the best possible solution to the nuclear waste-water. The ships will then have to be kept docked somewhere safe while all the water is de-activated. It will take time, money and effort, but it's worth it.

The cost is nothing

After TEPCO and the Japanese government/tax payers get done paying
for all the lawsuits from the fishing industry and environmental
groups, the oil tanker solution will look very cheap. Seems like an
obvious solution to me. But, as with many "obvious" solutions, there
may be some technical hurdles that can't be overcome. Like maybe the
tankers can't get close enough to shore. I have no idea how deep the
water is close to the plant.
