Radioactivity in cosmetic products from Japan?

Most if not all cosmetics require WATER in their manufacture. Just prior to the triple crises in Japan I was seriously considering signing on with Noevir, a Japanese cosmetics company so I could get a good discount on their excellently prepared products which I had tried and bought from the woman demonstrating them.

I have now used all of the products up and what really saddens me is that as large as this company is complete with a regional distribution center in California and I think Chicago is that they do not have manufacturing facilities outside of Japan otherwise I would probably continue buying those products known to be formulated and manufactured in the US following the radioactive disaster.

Now, knowing that Japan's water tables have been found to carry fallout which may not be filterable plus the fact that no cosmetic company yet has said they check for the range of fallout known to be present including Plutonium I'm going back to other similar brands made by American and European manufacturers.

I am very sorry for all the Noevir and other Japan cosmetics distributors stateside because any concerned educated woman or her husband will know that it's better to err on the safeside and personally 'self ban' these formerly wonderful and uncontaminated brands.
