San Fran water versus East Bay (Berkeley)
Hi BRAWM, thanks for your data. I only wish the people we pay with our tax dollars (EPA & FDA) were as forthright.
I have a question re your tap water testing. Have you been testing water in Berkeley only or have you included other tap water in the Bay Area, eg SF? I'm not sure of this, but I thought SF got our water supply from a different source. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to minimize exposures to my young daughter.
thanks!

With the recent rain over
With the recent rain over the last few days, has BRAWM considered another run of creekwater and tap water testing.
I would assume that some of the deposited Cesium on the ground would have runoff, and the last of these samples was done two months ago, before significant Cesium was found in food samples.
Thanks!
Tap water was tested from
Tap water was tested from Berkeley only. This water is East Bay MUD and originates at the Pardee reservoir in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
SF Water
Thanks for the answer. Any chance of testing the water in San Francisco? I would volunteer to bring a sample. I believe it comes mainly from Hetch Hetchy.
Yes, it does come from Hetch
Yes, it does come from Hetch Hetchy, but I expect it to be comparable to East Bay MUD water since we are talking about similar pathways. We reported some contamination early on, but these were right on the edge of detectability and thus very questionable since we have not seen any sustained levels since that point. I would not worry about the tap water supply in SF. We are concentrating on what we can still see (Milk, grass, soil, rain water, air).
Hi, Where could I find more
Hi,
Where could I find more info about test on the radiation in milk in the Bay Area. I am a mom and I've been giving my baby milk from Straus Creamery company, and now I am very worry. I called a company a few days ago and ask about the most recent test and they said that they no longer doing any testing because the radiation amount in their milk is untraceable. I am still very worried, because they haven't clarify this on their website for the month of May and Jun.
Thank you very much.
