I will reserve comment but agree with the one comment there at Jeff McMahon's blog (which actually gave a shout out to our fellow poster Rick, a week or so ago)!

For the EPA to say that it is going to suspend overall Radnet monitor testing (despite ongoing radioactive contamination of lets say Cesium, and in some cases, increasing levels of fallout), is like saying that even though potentially damaging radioactive fallout continues to be present across the United States, lets all of us put our heads in holes, and then the radiation threats will go away...
Okay, I will put my head in a hole in the ground, and then I will be alright! Well, if a serious threat does come up, how the heck can any of us take corrective action, when we do not know there is a problem in the first place. Not sound advice. Time to call our Congressional Representatives!
