Pool filters

Would a standard diatomaceous earth pool filter remove radioactive I, Cs,Te,St, etc? I am not sure I should let my kids swim in our pool until I test it or refill it with fresh water. Also, what about salt water pools....are these better at filtering out this fallout? Thanks in advance.

We have an ozone pool, and

We have an ozone pool, and I've been thinking about what to do this summer. I am going to check on whether ozone clears radio isotopes and also look into finding zeolite distributors that make filters for pools. Don't know if such distributors exist, but will do a search and post what I find out.

Or ozone filtration systems?

Or ozone filtration systems?

I don't know if those

I don't know if those filtration systems can remove the isotopes but I have read previous posts with ur same concerns. You can check the forum by search but I recall reading that a BRAWM member replied by saying the isotopes would be extremely diluted and to ingest any sort of an amount to cause concern u would most certainly become more ill from the chemicals in the pool vs isotopes. I took some comfort in that considering my son swims on a swim team and spends a lot of time in the water. I hope this helps....
