Really appreciate your post. Thanks! Radiation Detox Manual you refer nicely puts together lots of good, useful information into just one information reference source.

Radiation detox can be also achieved by consumption of chlorella. This fresh water algae is known for its detoxing properties and is strong antioxidant.

This is great info. The only problem is how to find seaweed that predates the accident or is guaranteed from somewhere unaffected. I've read that seaweed in particular absorbs radioactive contaminants.

Thanks so much for this! Exactly what I wanted.
I've been working my way through, and it looks like I can send links to my non-science friends while scoping out the reference list for myself. Some of the references are older, so some information has obviously been out for a while, but other articles are more recent.
Could use a bit of an edit job, but hey, the heavy lifting has been done.

that is great article. Although they recommend broccoli and cabbage for radiation repair in the cell, the problem is where to get those that are not contaminated? Anybody knows a source of broccoli, kale and cabbage from the the southern hemisphere?
Does anybody know how to find out when frozen food was actually packed?
Do I have to call the company that made it?

Go buy Chlorella, Spirulina and Cilantro (liquid tincture form) at a health food stoore and take lots of it. Buy Bentonite clay to bathe in and the kind you drink. Take supplements and make sure you are not deficient in minerals or your body will take in stuff like strontium, uranium, plutonium etc. Good luck, because Arnie Gunderson at Fairewinds says uranium and plutonium were turned into vaporus particles when reactor 3 blew and as we all know, uranium has been detected on the west coast.

are broccoli and cabbage really leafy greens? for some reason i thought that they were still safe to eat whereas foods like spinach, lettuce, mustard greens and kale that were leafy were not okay to eat...

I am having the same issue as you are. I have bought some frozen brocolli, spinach, peas, etc. but this won't last forever. We only have enough for about 4 months. After this I am not sure where we are going to get our veggies from. Since we are in Canada most of our fruit and vegetables come from BC, Washington and California which are all on the west coast.

How can anyone be willing to follow the advice from a book published on a website called meditation expert without any further proof of its validity?
This just confirms the idea that when people are scared, they will listen to anyone that seems to have a clue, no matter how stupid or irrational the instructions are.

Yes, after Chernobyl, children were given Spirulina and it removed radioactive particles--came out in their urine. Something to do with ions and bonding and chemistry (which I failed in hs)
Also check out Zeolite/Bentonite clays:
"All nuclear waste is mixed with zeolite clay before packaging and stored underground because it helps prevent radioactivity from seeping into the ground after prolonged storage"
"after the fission reactor meltdowns at both Three Mile Island and Chernobyl where zeolites were used to mop up the waste caused by the accidents. In some cases they even become stronger. The British Nuclear Fuels (BNF) also uses a specific type of zeolite clay to remove radioactive strontium and cesium-137 and, therefore, reduce the radioactivity of liquid waste discharged into the Irish Sea. The Hanford, Washington nuclear weapons facility uses clay to prevent contamination as well. Basically, nearly all nuclear storage facilities are lined with clay to prevent contamination, because clay can absorb radioactive toxins and bind them--bentonite clay can absorb heavy metals and contaminants in the intestines. You can easily buy liquid bentonite in health food stores for these purposes.
"within the structure of the zeolite molecule there are certain “structural cages” with positive ionic charges. The ionic charges within these cages attract heavy metals – such as cesium, strontium, uranium, mercury, etc. -- and the caged structure of zeolite tightly binds them. These caged and binded heavy metals are excreted from the body without getting deposited in other places..."

Liquid bentonite looks like verythin grey mud--you just take a few tablespoons in water. It's is surprisingly tasteless!
Ok, that said. Arnie Gunderson at Fairewinds Associates said that when reactor 3 blew and it's fuel rods landed miles away, uranium and plutonium were turned into vaporous particles that can and have made it to the west coast. If we have breathed in this plutonium and uranium vapor, there's probably not much we can do about it.

Actually the majority of the suggestions in the document can be verified by looking through the scientific references that they also post throughout the document. The references that they post can be found on www.pubmed.com. Since the Fukushima disaster I have been reading published papers on Pubmed that were written in reference to Chernobyl and the experiments that were conducted to reduce the radiation levels in the children who were exposed. A lot of the suggestions that they give in this document were used on the children with great success such as spirulina and apple pectin.
Anyway, I thought I would post it for those people wanting to be proactive with thier health and they can take what they want from it.
