Just got off the phone with the chief of radiation protection at the NC DENR. He's emailing me all of the NC testing data. Very easy to get information from him, and I thanked him for doing such thorough testing for the state of NC. I wonder if some other states are doing the same testing. Maybe we just need to dig to find it.

That some of this information is out there for the asking, you just gotta know who to ask what.
"continuing trend"
NC seems to be thorough in their testing.
The words "continuing trend" is concerning to me.
How long before the continuing trend leads to cumulative amounts of radiation exposure from air/water/food/milk that's no longer "safe."

I'm going to call them today to see if they will give me a link to the hard data. I'd like to see information specific to my town along with trends. I'm glad to know our drinking water tests fine.
