Plutonium and Yoghurt Testing? For a couple of interesting reasons!
Can anyone test a couple of brands of commonly found yoghurts for Plutonium levels in addition to Cs-137, I-131 and any other of the longer half life (ie:10+ years) to decay radionuclides? Here is a list in which one or more may reveal a shocking result since nobody IS testing for Plutonium along with the others mentioned and I think it is for valid military based compartmentalized reasons:
Dannon,
Mountain High
Stoneyfield
Yoplait
Cascade
And any other brands including store brand yoghurts you can find since I've eaten each of these brands at one time or another!
One of these companies is in a county that is exactly adjacent to and in an area downwind of the Nevada nuclear test site, there was also a nuclear weapons manufacturing plant up to the 1980's. It was proven by professional epidemiological study that levels of Plutonium were 44 times higher than the government claimed around the plant and it was reported there was higher-than-average rates of leukemia and cancer among the local people. In 1980 it was reported that plant workers had eight times more brain tumors than expected.
-Off my menu: All Seafoods because the oceans really are a military and industrial sewer!
