The truth to shill ratio on this site is off today. Don't you have a trans continental flight to catch, a banana to eat, or a granite countertop to admire?
Helen Caldecott
from Wikipedia
Helen Caldecott: Born in Melbourne, Australia, Caldicott attended the Fintona Girls' School, and received her medical degree in 1961 from the University of Adelaide Medical School. In 1977 she joined the staff of the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston, and taught pediatrics at the Harvard Medical School from 1977 to 1978.
In 1980, following the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, she left her medical career in order to concentrate on calling the world's attention to what she refers to as the "insanity" of the nuclear arms race and the growing reliance on nuclear power.
In 1982, she was the subject of the controversial Oscar-winning National Film Board of Canada documentary on the dangers of nuclear weapons, entitled If You Love This Planet.[1]
Dr. Todd ?!?
"The truth to hyperbole ratio of her statements leaves a lot to be desired."
Please, if you could offer a little more for the rest of us.
What exactly do you disagree with? (some examples below)
Is it the amount of nuclear fuel material present in all (or some) of the Fukushima reactors?
Is it the number of the radionuclides (radioisotopes) potentially created during emergency situations?
Is it the total amount (YBq = yottabecquerel) of radionuclides (radioisotopes) that could or have been released into the environment?
Is it the level of known toxicity that radionuclides (radioisotopes) present to humans?
Thank you for taking the time to educate us.
