CBRN Gas Mask
I couldn't seem to find a solid answer anywhere on the internet, and I figure someone here would probably know more about this.
Are CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear) NIOSH Certified gas masks effective against isotopes in the air such as Iodine-131, Cesium-134/137, and any others that may arrive here from the Fukushima plants? If they don't protect from all isotopes, would it be a good idea to have one anyway to prevent the exposure to the ones it does protect from?
If anyone is able to provide a full or partial list of what isotopes these masks do provide protection against I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks,
Ryu
