EPA Historical Monitoring Data for Air, Milk, Drinking Water, and Precipitation
I follow the Berkeley forum regularly, and I have seen quite a few inquiries regarding historical monitoring data. The following Web site has a fair amount of historical information including air monitoring data following Chernobyl for various locations, including Berkeley, California: http://oaspub.epa.gov/enviro/erams_query.simple_query. Depending on the location you select, there is monitoring data for air, milk, drinking water, and precipitation. While it would be nice if the data were more comprehensive, it at least provides some basis for comparison to the data we are seeing today.

Wow. Thanks for the link. This does help put things in perspective.
From what I can tell, the highest I-131 level in Berkeley from
Chernobyl was about 7 times what the BRAWM team has reported so far.
If my math is correct.
