Mr. Chivers: Rainwater results? (from Bill)
anyone look at this during CAL day and get a sense of what the results are (up, down, no change)?
It is raining cats and dogs on the east coast and I really want to know how much radiation is in this rain which blew here from there.
New milk and produce tests are desireable too asap.
Thx
and BTW
someone claimed they has UCB test milk which tested 79 pCi/L for I-131. This was on the Forbes blog discussion (Jeff McMahon). Is that anything you know about and, if true, why was it not posted and when was it produced?

Hi Bill, Our highest milk
Hi Bill,
Our highest milk concentration was 1.4 Bq/L or (1.4*27 pCi/Bq) 37.8 pCi/L...I will check the source and try to refute the claim. Thanks for the heads up...
The assertion was made in the comments (site)

Here is the poster's name and the assertion:

Regarding dianalees comment, I haven’t seen much mention of the proposed hormetic benefits of low-dose exposure to radiation in any of these discussions.
"There is extensive evidence that low-dose exposure to radiation can stimulate immune function and actually reduce the risk of developing cancer. Here is one reference: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18648595. A simple search on Pubmed.org will turn up hundreds more.
"Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but the EPA’s MCL is 3 pCi of I-131 and c-137 in a liter of milk – but that’s assuming continuous consumption of 70 years. The FDA’s DIL is 4,700 pCi per liter of milk consumed (at a single occurrence).
"The farmer I get my milk from in Northern CA had it tested by UC Berkeley and it came back at 79 pCi. This far exceeds the EPA MCL (based on 70 years) but is less than 2% of the FDA DIL."
(You have to click the "see all comments" button to read it. It is about the 60th comment and the author is Mrswitters who claims his wife is pregnant and argues these limits must be safe for heer to drink so i suspect a planted comment with false info but maybe someone at UC Berkeley did test it or maybe the info is just wrong as it is basically just a random anonymous comment)
When can we expect the results?
we really want to know
when?
