Rainwater Results soon? Also: Strontium 89 and 90 Detected from Fukushima (IAEA)
Can we expect the rainwate results today?
In a related matter, the IAEA reported the following:
"MEXT reported on measurements of strontium-89 (half-life: 50.5 days) and strontium-90(half-life: 28.8 years) in three samples taken in one village in the Fukushima prefecture on 16 March. The activities in soil for Sr-89 ranged from 13 and 260 Bq/kg and for Sr-90 between 3.3 and 32 Bq/kg. Sr-90 was also distributed globally during nuclear weapons' testing in the atmosphere, typical global levels of Sr-90 in surface soils are in the order of one to a few becquerel per kg. Strontium was also measured in plant samples in four other villages, with values ranging from 12 to 61 Bq/kg for Sr-89 and 1.8 to 5.9 Bq/kg for Sr-90."

It has been reported that Stronium has been detected in pther countries as well but this is the first confirmation that it has been found that I could find outside the grounds of the Daiishi plant (meaning it must have been in the initial blasts and/or gas vented)
Once again the failure of ANYONE to be testing for this is really troubling. The EPA did ONE test (so far according to Radnet) three weeks ago in two towns in California where none was yet detected and THAT's IT! Look up Stronium 90 and PLEASE see if we can get this tested by UCBerkeley asap or by ANYONE we can trust. Strontium 90 is a stone cold killer which is absorbed into bones and goes with you to your grave. And it probably will put you there. (28 year half life means effective radio-emitting "life" of 300 or so years).
It MAY well be adding to the radionuclide load in the milk, water, spinach, air, etc and NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE. Its a crime.

The silence of the Berkeley
The silence of the Berkeley team today has me worried. Weren't they expecting to release the data from yesterday's rain sometime today?
Here is some very disturbing
Here is some very disturbing information on Strontium:

I am at a loss how the world has not been better informed about the Strontium and Plutonium levles. Why is it just comming out now?
We live in strange times.
