[R. Cromack] Question About Total C-137 N. American Accumulation / Deposition
Here's a question, for BRAWM / UCBNE, or whomever...
Please take a look at this map of Europe, that purports to quantify TOTAL CESIUM-137 DEPOSITION ACROSS THAT CONTINENT FOLLOWING CHERNOBYL:

...ASSUMING (and, I know, it's a BIG assumption) that this is in any way accurate -- is there ANY way of knowing / estimating, at present, how North American Cesium accumulation / deposition compares to what Europe experienced?
This may be a simplistic effort at comparison, but I do think it would be helpful to many of us who aren't well-versed in all this, to sort of compare and contrast exposures / dosages and, if possible, draw understanding about what may be in our future. Naturally, I know this is an ongoing event and one with particularly incomplete / unreliable data... But I have to try to make sense of this, you know, even if it's only to say something along the lines of: Well, sure, we're going to get a similar dusting to Europe, but, you know, THEY survived, and all this crap got in THEIR food chains and bodies and biospheres, too. They made it through, and so will we.
...And, if it's really NOT possible... I understand. I just had to try to regain SOMETHING like sanity / perspective / rationality, here, after a month of going fairly outta my tree.
