Thanks for topsoil; may I ask how it was collected?
By which I mean, what was the surface area of the sampled ground, and how deep did you go? Was it bare, or covered with vegetation? I'm interested in the concentration and penetration depth of radioactive particles into the ground. I looked in the FAQ and links, but didn't see the method anywhere.
From the difference between rainwater and creek runoff, and despite the mud in the creek water picture, it looks like soil was filtering out radioactive particles before they entered the creek. It might be interesting to do another creek sample to see if the levels remain low.
I have to admit the grass sample levels were a surprise. I expected them to be closer to the spinach levels, if not lower due to smaller leaf area.
And again, many thanks for all the work!
