Effect of freezing on half-life

If a food with radiation is frozen, will the half-life of particles in it continue the same, or slow down?

It will remain the same.

It will remain the same.

Effect of freezing on half-life

Just to confirm, this means that frozen foods continue to decay in terms of half-lives? Freezing does not slow the process of half-life decay. Anyone chime in on this.

I even had a friend who thought freezing would "kill" or eliminate the radiation. I told her no. Freezing food will not eliminate radiation.
