Rainy Season Over in CA (hopefully)..what does that mean for the pollution?

The rainy season in California should be more or less over. Assuming the reactors at Fukushima Daiichi remain in crisis for quite some time, does the fact that it won't be raining so much in California mean that the radioactive plume will pass over us leaving less deposition in the Bay Area?
