Is it safe to swim in Hawaii?

We booked tickets to go to Hawaii in May back in Feb. Given the current situation and Japan has dumped thousands of gallons of contaminated water into the ocean, is it still safe to go to Hawaii and swim in the ocean, especially for young kids? I have not seen any reports about seawater being tested anywhere...
