recent bayarea rainfall on 4/07/2011 and 4/08/2011 & radioactive contamination data
is there any data on the recent rainfall in the sfbayarea this week? if so i hope that you did happen to measure the radioiodine and other radionuclide contamination for the recent rainfall and can provide amounts. just curious.

Location of Rainwater data
Click on the link below. The article has a link that will open all of the current rainwater data in a new window for you. It is updated regularly.
EPA – Current Rainwater Radiation Data – Updated
these are a week old at least
just sayin'
we want the new results from last night's rain
brawn tested it but hasn't posted the results
instant karma or pulp fiction date, you decide...
yes. i don't see anything close to the data that i am looking for.
i'm guessing the tests and the results are off the hook..
that is the only reasonable conclusion i can make here... i *really* don't trust the EPA... for lots of reasons.
NO THEY ARE NOT A WEEK OLD!
I beg to differ. The link in the article above is updated daily and has data from today!
The most recent COLLECTION date is 3/30/11
there is one for 3/27 too -- but all the rest are older than that.
The postinmg dates are today. Granted. But the tests are for samples over a week ago. The 300+ PCi/CM in Boise are pretty scary though for 3/30/11
Correction, the Boise collection is 3/27 at 390 pCi/M3
I do not know how this correlates to pCi/Litre but it sure looks damn high to me. The radiocesium is not to shabby an amount either.
But still this was collected more than a week ago and the results only posted today which is egregiously negligent on the part of the US government EPA.
we need more real time measurements as Berkeley's BRAWN team is doing.
LOOK at the date the samples were collected. NONE yet for April. Unconscienable!
Also, what about tap water
Also, what about tap water measurements? They would be interesting because it may have taken a while, since the rainfalls, for the radioisotopes to make it into the tap and ground water.
The last resulst were too low to detect BUT
They have not tested tap anjd stream water since the rain last night so
hopefully they will provide this soon too
I hate the fact that they kinda go dark on the weekends when we are waiting but, hey, they have lives too (unlike some of us here)
cheers
When can we expect the results?
I know its Friday night but if anyone is checking this do we have to wait all weekend or might you bless us with info soon?
