There are white particles coming down in Ventura and T.O. CA
These particles are about the size of a pin head. Some are spherical, some are flat. They seem to be some kind of white powder that is not like ash, more like chalk. On the ground, they are about 6 inches apart. They have been coming down all day in the wind.

That is interesting since it's been a windy day with some small rain. Maybe if you see them tomorrow, you should see if you can collect some in a jar and look at them with a magnifying glass or microscope. You might get a clue as to what they are. If it was ash from our summer fires, I don't think it would still be moving around after all of the rain. You might also look to see if you see it all around Ventura or just in one spot.
It is in more than one city
