Food chain testing

First of all, thank you BRAWM team for all the information that you are providing. Are there any plans to test any other vegetables/fruits in addition to spinach, cilantro, grass and mushrooms? If not, do you think there could be other produce that has been contaminated?

yes

You're welcome, we're glad

You're welcome, we're glad we can help inform the public about what's going on now as well as what radiation is all about.

We do not have specific plans to test other vegetables or fruit. In general, we are testing whatever we can get that is locally grown. Many vegetables will have some low level of radioisotopes such as what we've measured in these samples; there is nothing intrinsically special about which produce we chose, although it is known that spinach tends to take up radioactivity from the soil somewhat more effectively than many other vegetables.
