Great Work Berkeley! Info helps keep my kids safer.
Breakdown of the radiation level by isotopes is exactly the information I am looking for. EPA only gives you information on I-131 and not much else, but, I want to know about isotopes with longer half-life.
What is also useful is the data on milk. I want to know about the "best buy" date and when the milk was likely processed and packaged. Otherwise, I can't really determine which batch of milk to avoid for my kids. Yes, EPA says radiation is too small to be of any concern. And, yes, we are constantly exposed to radiation. BUT, I just don't believe ingesting radiation into your body has the same risk effect as "exposure" during a flight or watching TV. I don't feel feeding radiation to a 3-yr old child at any level is a healthy practice.
