You started a thread with outlandish claims of conspiracy and cover-up. You set yourself up for believing anything in this vein.
It's a way to show you that you've made an error in judgment, as hard is that is to swallow.
If you wish to believe in conspiracies, believe in the kinds that are most plausible, like people that are elected to office are over their heads and can't really manage. Or, that greed by Tepco caused cost cutting that hamstrung their response. Or that the Japanese government wants to save face and that's why they are causing more pain to their people, rather than admit that they were wrong.
People do things not so much for nefarious reasons, but because they can only see two feet in-front of their nose. Sure there are bad people in the world, but evil geniuses are fiction for the most part. Hitler probably being the best example of real-life evil.
Your government is made up of people like you and me that just want to have a happy life. They don't want to be bothered when things go wrong, and when they do, are ill equipped to handle it. No conspiracy, just lazy people.
If you really want to help the world out, get involved by promoting safety, alternative energy, rationality and objectivity. Realize that humans color the information they convey based on their emotional state, and that ultimately everyone wants to be happy in life.
